We met Daniel Garcia during an open house and had some questions about the possibility of building an ADU, for which we had approved plans. Daniel graciously came to our home, gave us general advice and encouragement and shared with us his experience of recently completing his own remodel and addition of an ADU. Daniel was extremely helpful in suggesting where to purchase materials at discount and sharing contacts for who he had used for the various trades. Daniel spent over an hour sharing his advise and my wife and I loved how easy going and authentic he was. In the interim, the pandemic hit and we decided not to build, but rather to sell our home.We listed our home for sale with Daniel and due to the unique nature of the pandemic, we had a laundry list of things that we asked Daniel to do for us in terms of showing the house. Daniel never missed a beat and he diligently observed and respected all of our various requests.When it came to estimating market value, Daniel was an expert. He provided a market analysis and suggested a listing price for our home, which we thought was probably high. However, he was right on the money with his suggested list price and we had our home under contract in two short days—at full asking price.Previously, we had had two of the areas top leading realtors who had come to our home and given us price opinions as well. Each of their price opinions was at least $150,000 less than what we eventually listed and sold our house for.Had we gone with their “expert” opinions, we would have lost an unfathomable amount of money, which points out the critical importance of working with a real estate professional who is both ethical and knowledgeable, as well as expert at their craft.During the sale, we ran into repair issues that would have certainly doomed most transactions. However, Daniel was an expert salesman and explained to our buyers the nature and considerations of buying an older, character home.Where as many Realtors simply put up a sign, list in the MLS, answer the phone and then sell your house without putting in much effort, Daniel was physically present every step of the way for us—from initial showing, to reshowing, to inspection and final walk through. As a result, he was able to personally address all of the various inspection issues that came up and he was able to personally speak with our buyers each time. His ethical, easy going professionalism and excellent salesmanship made all of the difference and we were able to sell the house without making ANY repairs, the totals of which could have easily exceeded $30,000-40,000 dollars.During our listing period, Daniel kept us up to date on what day and time the showings were scheduled and the results of each showing. We were very impressed with Daniel’s timeliness of response. Communication was both outstanding and easy with him and all of our texts and emails were answered immediately, we never once had to wait for a response.Daniel is a professional in every sense of the word.
